The Making of Atom Heart Mother out now! 2008-23-10

An Environmental Management graduate, Joe has experience of and an interest in recycling and waste management. Strong views on packaging reduction and a proven passion for education were augmented by work at East Sussex County Council and a primary school workshop, both with excellent feedback.

A strong Chemistry background and broad science interests aided a project on “Landfill Leachate” and a dissertation on “Heavy Metal Soil Contamination and Bio-accumulation in Stinging Nettles”.

Joe has combined his environmental and science interests with music, writing well received features on Styrene Records, Eco / Recycling Vinyl, The Cost Of Living vs Record Colleting and Alternative Formats.

This background, combined with experience in education and working with people has led to a career in Environmental Health. Here Joe works with Environmental Permitting (including Petroleum), proactive Noise / Nuissance, Contaminated Land, Planning Consultation and site visits. Attended courses include Contaminated Land (5 days), Primary Authority (2 days) and Institute Of Acoustics Competency (5 days). Further information can be found on the downloadable CV (PDF).
